The Erie County Medical Center Special Needs Dentistry Program cares for individuals who have difficulty cooperating for traditional dental care. We welcome individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, history of stroke or traumatic brain injury, dementia among many other complex medical conditions. Our goals are to provide dental care to all individuals, regardless of their abilities, and to assist their caregivers in providing routine dental hygiene at home.
We offer dental treatment in both traditional ambulatory clinic setting, and full mouth dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia in the operating room when indicated.
Our doctors, staff, and residents are ready to meet the unique needs of this special population. Please call (716) 898-3189 for an appointment.
