Dr. Robert Ablove is an orthopedics expert who focuses on upper extremity surgery, with an emphasis on shoulder and elbow reconstruction and replacement. In addition, he cares for patients with a variety of common hand injuries, including fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and trigger finger.
Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners, and with a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand, Dr. Robert Ablove also teaches at the University at Buffalo’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Ablove is also a staff member of UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
With a commitment to restoring functions and improving patient quality of life, Dr. Robert Ablove focuses his research on anatomy, shoulder surgeries, and degenerative tendon issues to further understanding around joint and soft tissue structure and treatment of degenerative conditions.
