RFP 202015 MEDICAL PHYSICIST

ECMCC is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Medical Physicist services. These
services shall consist of the provision of stipulated safety surveys, acceptance testing and oversight
of ECMCC’s quality assurance program, as well as ACR accreditation assistance, shielding
designs, entrance skin exposure charts, badge review, nuclear medicine audits and participation in
radiation safety meetings, pregnancy dosimetry reports, phone and email consultation.
Additionally, radiology and dental programs are required by state, federal law, and accrediting
bodies to have annual radiation safety surveys on all x-ray emitting devices. MRI, Ultrasound and
Nuclear Medicine all have specifications and regulations governed by the state of New York and
accrediting bodies to follow as well. Monitoring will be performed through documentation and
record keeping through ECMCC QA/Equipment Technologist.
