Joshua Sabatino is a graduate of an adult gerontology nurse practitioner program at Daeman College. Joshua is both a clinical leader for Erie County Medical Center’s COVID-19 testing center, and manages the monoclonal antibody infusion program for patients with SARS CoV-2. The goal of this treatment therapy is to prevent hospitalizations and minimize the course of the infection. Working with the ECMC pharmacy and the Federal Drug Agency, the program offers one of the only experimental treatments for individuals at risk for COVID-19 complications.
Joshua Sabatino’s nursing career includes opening the hospice unit at Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus in Clarence, NY. He was also involved in a special acute inpatient psychiatric unit at ECMC, treating patients with aggression. Joshua volunteers in the community as an EMT and firefighter for the Snyder Fire Department. He was the recipient of 93.7 WBLK’s “Man of Power Award” in Buffalo, NY in 2017 for his efforts with patients coping with psychosis as well as his role in the volunteer fire service.
