Dr. Ross Cole’s goal as a practicing Orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in hand and upper extremity surgery is multifaceted. For one, he believes patients deserve the upmost devotion from a dedicated surgeon who is willing to help the patient by whatever means necessary to achieve a desired solution to their problem.
He also places a high value on education, and a responsibility to train the medical providers of tomorrow by offering training in his area of expertise. He believes this to be a foundational component of medical education. He also plans to remain focused on the development of his own education to continue to provide up-to-date and state-of-the-art treatment options for his patients.
Finally, he believes it is highly important to contribute to existing knowledge in the medical field. Research is an important component of orthopaedic surgery, and he will continue to work toward improving understanding, skill, and technology in an effort to meet the demands of patient needs in the ever-evolving field of medicine and surgery.
Ultimately, he plans to dedicate his career to the betterment of his patients as well as the field of orthopaedic surgery. He will utilize the knowledge and skill he has obtained in an attempt to improve the lives of his patients and give back to the field that has shaped his career.
