Alyssa Marsillo is a board-certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Daemen College in 2013.
Prior to joining the Rheumatology team at ECMC, she worked in Gastroenterology for a decade where her passion for specialty medicine began. Alyssa has always been interested in the causal link between autoimmune gastro conditions and their association with rheumatological illnesses. The Arthritis Foundation reports that people with rheumatoid arthritis are approximately 70% more likely to develop GI problems than those without the condition. With her expertise in gastroenterology, she fits uniquely into the ECMC Center for Rheumatology. Alyssa’s goal is to ensure that all patients feel comfortable and supported in their healthcare needs as well as to build confidence and trust in the care she provides.
