ECMC’s JoAnn Wolf Selected for 2019-2020 GNYHA Fellowship Program

JoAnn Wolf, RN, MHA, Assistant Vice President of Medical Surgical Services for ECMC, has been selected by the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) and the United Hospital Fund (UHF) as a fellow for the 2019-2010 class of the Clinical Quality Fellowship Program. This is a 15 month program to develop and nurture the next generation of clinical quality leaders. Fellows learn how to use a wide variety of tools and strategies to advance quality and patient safety from a faculty of quality improvement leaders.

ECMC Hepatology Clinic Director Dr. Martinez and Staff Honored with Special Recognition Award from New York State for World AIDS Day

The ECMC Hepatology Clinic at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) was recently presented the New York State Department of Health Commissioner’s Special Recognition Award. The award recognizes individuals or teams in New York State committed to eliminating hepatitis C by promoting testing, ensuring timely linkage to care and improving access to hepatitis C care, treatments and cures.
