ECMC Foundation

From lifesaving surgery for trauma patients to the extra support that makes a difficult time easier for visiting families, ECMC offers true care at every level.

Making more possible for our patients and community.

ECMC Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation, enhances what ECMC offers to our patients and community, secures the resources that make all the difference, and takes on initiatives to financially support the lifesaving work of ECMC.

As our community hospital, ECMC serves a range of patients and families across Western New York. Through generous community support and building connections throughout our region, the Foundation strives to make more possible for our patients, their families, and our community.

The Foundation also assists patients and families in large and small ways. From providing patient transport vehicles to extended-stay housing assistance, from patient comfort carts to personal items, we are committed to providing the resources that are too often overlooked in times of illness or crisis.

Tuesdays at the Terrace features music and entertainment to enhance the quality of life of residents and their families at Terrace View, our long-term care facility. In addition to the long-term care that is provided—such as our nursing home and rehabilitation services—there are also short-term care options available. Additionally, The Terrace has a beautiful, spacious garden which residents enjoy throughout the year.

The ECMC Mobile Mammography Unit is a one-of-a-kind service in our region which reaches women in underserved parts of our community and around ECMC’s neighborhood to provide crucial diagnostic and preventive care.

Having the most committed and talented people on our team is critical to providing our patients the best possible treatment. To that end, the Foundation contributes to staff training, conference attendance, and other employee assistance programs to help careers flourish and ensure patients receive the most cutting-edge care.

The ECMC Foundation also works to support the needs of specialty departments, fulfilling requests for equipment, therapeutic tools, and staff support. The Foundation contributes to the hospital’s staff fitness center with machines, weights, and other equipment.
