Federal agency lifts probation of ECMC living donor program

The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) board of directors voted Tuesday to restore full member privileges for both ECMC as well as the Nebraska Organ Recovery System, the organ procurement organization serving that state.
Two years later, Erie County Medical Center has been removed from probation by a federal organ transplant agency.
