As a trauma patient or caregiver, you may have questions that occur to you after you have been discharged from the hospital. Below, you will find links and resources which may provide answers to your questions and assist you on the road to recovery. We have included links to local agencies that offer peer support and educational resources related to traumatic brain injuries and amputations. The Brain Injury Association of New York State has multiple resources, support groups, and training programs related to brain injuries.
Trauma Survivors Network
Trauma Survivors Network is sponsored by the American Trauma Society. Here you can access the Traumapedia, join forums, learn about survivor programs and peer visitation or support groups.
