Radiology & Imaging Services
At ECMC, our commitment to true care extends to all imaging modalities. Our compassionate staff works to ensure comfort, quality, and convenience.

Great Lakes Medical Imaging
Great Lakes Medical Imaging provides expert diagnostic and interventional radiology services for ECMC. Radiologists are board-certified and fellowship trained in several subspecialties, including neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, body imaging, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine.
Radiology technologists are licensed by New York State and certified in their specialty. Radiology nurses have critical care experience and work with the radiologists and radiology physician assistants. The entire team is dedicated to deliver the highest quality care.
ECMC performs 170,000+ procedures annually—more than any single healthcare facility in Western New York. ECMC also has one of the most advanced and innovative interventional suites for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, boasting fellowship-trained interventional radiologists. Our team performs interventions and therapies, such as TIPS procedures, Y-90, vein and uterine ablation, biopsies, drainages, line placements, and pain management.
Board-certified radiation physicists serve as safety officers, providing on-site compliance and accreditation testing for diagnostic and radiopharmaceutical studies.
We are integrated electronically with your physician, and thus results are available almost instantaneously through a secure website.
