Christian Johnson is a member of ECMC’s Board of Directors. As a technology and innovation leader, mother, entrepreneur, advocate, and mentor, she offers a wealth of practical and business experience across both the business administration and professional health services markets.
As Chief Executive Officer at Beautiful Brains LLC, she is responsible for driving innovation and growth across a range of managed IT and professional services. Recipient of the “Woman Changing the World” and Minority Technology Entrepreneur Awards, she is a proven and respected entrepreneur and leader at the forefront of modernization and change.
Christian was the Founder of Driver Watchdog – a NY technology startup that leveraged AI and machine learning to develop novel driving behavior sensors and continues to serve as adjunct professor for the Blackstone Launchpad at the University at Buffalo. Her greatest joy is serving as ambassador for the Buffalo Urban League, where she mentors young, up and coming superstars.
Other experiences include membership on the Erie County Legislature Chairman’s Cabinet, African American Veterans Monument, and Techstars – Buffalo Chapter, leadership boards. She was also a television actor and film producer, co-producing “The Forgotten City,” a documentary focusing on the challenges of Buffalo’s intercity.
Christian maintains memberships in both the National Urban League and U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, is community focused and deeply committed to helping ECMC put patients first, while bringing uncompromising compassion to everything she does.
