Dr. Felix Cheng is an attending neurologist at ECMC with special interest in epilepsy. Dr. Cheng is dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions through collaboration, open-mindedness, and knowledge translation. As an Assistant Professor of Neurology at UB, Dr. Cheng also serves as a preceptor of neurology residents.
Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Cheng has been a clinical instructor for the neurology module of the clinical practice of medicine at University at Buffalo. His professional memberships include the American Epilepsy Society and the American Academy of Neurology. As a researcher, he is first author of a case report accepted by the RRNMF Neuromuscular Journal entitled: “Bilateral Ptosis and Limb Myokymia: Regional Variant of Guillain-Barre Syndrome?” In 2018, Dr. Cheng received a certificate of meritorious achievement for the Michael E. Cohen Residents’ Research Day Outstanding Research Presentation.
