Dr. John Campbell is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing at ECMC, where his specialties include trauma care, surgery of the temporomandibular joint, dental implant site preparation and surgery, and surgery for pathology and facial reconstruction.
In addition, he is associate professor within the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
An accomplished researcher, he has received funding for eighteen research projects since 1990, and has received the prestigious Research Support Grand from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation Twice. Dr. John Campbell has also earned distinction by serving as an ad hoc reviewer for several professional journals and site visitor of oral and maxillofacial surgery programs for the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Campbell presently serves as President of the Western New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
