Joseph Shelley, PharmD, BCPS | Clinical Pharmacist
Joseph Shelley is a Clinical Pharmacist working for ECMC Synergy Bariatrics. As a Clinical Pharmacist, Joseph is responsible for medication management for patients of the clinic, including managing dosages of medications and educating patients about their current and new medications.
Joseph has six years of experience as a pharmacist, all of which have been spent in facilities that have bariatric surgery programs. In the past, he has been an educator for patients undergoing bariatric surgery to ensure that they understand the medication changes necessary after surgery. Prior to joining Synergy Bariatrics, Joseph specialized for two years as an Operating Room pharmacist.
Joseph completed his Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) at D’Youville University School of Pharmacy. He is also a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS), which was awarded to him by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
