Dr. Kimberly Wilkins is the Family Medicine Chief of Service at ECMC. Dr. Wilkins began her specialization in addiction and family medicine during her residency with the University at Buffalo (2020) and has continued to focus on various aspects of the field ever since. A graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine (Barbados), Dr. Wilkins became chief resident and a Clinical Assistant Professor within UB’s Department of Family Medicine before becoming its Associate Residency Program Director. This coincided with her becoming an addiction medicine physician with ECMC, as well as the hospital’s Associate Chief of Service for Family Medicine in 2022. She is a member of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians and has co-authored various journal articles and presentations.
