Michael P. Keenan, MD | Attending Physician

Dr. Michael Keenan is an attending physician in the emergency department at ECMC. As a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, he is dedicated to producing strong emergency medicine physicians.

His personal research interests are in Toxicology, and he is pursuing a Toxicology fellowship. For residents, Dr. Keenan developed a Blackboard site complete with toxicology topics and questions. His research has been published in Addiction, MedEdPortal: The Journal of Teaching and Learning Resources, and Journal of Vector Ecology.

In 2017, Dr. Keenan received the Medical Student Excellence in Emergency Medicine Award.
