Dr. Velicu provides neurology care services alongside the team of Neurologic and Neurophysiologic specialists. She is board-certified in Neurology. She worked for the Metro Health System in Cleveland prior to joining ECMC. She was also on the staff of Cleveland Clinic Regional Neurology Post-medical School, she interned and did her residency at Loyola University, Chicago. She is currently studying for her Master in Public Health through Johns Hopkins University.
Dr Velicu most recently presented at the American Public Health Association Annual Conference in 2018.
Dr. Velicu was acknowledged with the Women in Neurosurgery Excellence Award in 2006 In addition to English, she is fluent in French, Italian, and Romanian.
