Susan Fallis Appointed Vice President of Behavioral Health Services

Susan Fallis, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, was appointed to the position of Vice President of Behavioral Health Services. In this role, she will oversee the service delivery for Behavioral Health and Chemical Dependency services. Susan will provide leadership to the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), the Inpatient Behavioral Health units, and the Chemical Dependency units, as well as the Outpatient Behavioral Health and Chemical Dependency clinics and services – all part of the Regional Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health at ECMC.

Susan Fallis has been in her current role as Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Behavioral Health since January of 2017. She has provided support and leadership to the Behavioral Health and Chemical Dependency services staff. During her tenure as AVP of Behavioral Health, the department has continued to enhance and refine its delivery of services.

Susan began her career as an oncology nurse and has worked in various positions within the Office of Mental Health, including Nurse Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing and Chief Nurse Officer.

Susan Fallis holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Trocaire College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Daemen College, and a Master of Science in Nursing from D’Youville College. She is Board-certified as a Nurse Executive-Advanced Level (NEA-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
