Biography

Co-Director of the Foot and Ankle Center at ECMC, Dr. Christopher A. Ritter practices foot and ankle surgery, lower extremity joint replacement and reconstruction, and trauma and reconstructive surgery. He cares for adolescent, adult, and elderly patients.

A staff member of UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Dr. Ritter is also board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and has extensive training in the field of orthopedics, including fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic Institute and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition to his surgical practice, he is Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Orthopedics at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biological Sciences.

The research expertise of Dr. Christopher Ritter includes a wide range of topics within the field of foot and ankle orthopedics.

Throughout his career, Dr. Christopher Ritter has been honored for orthopedic excellence, including the Christopher Pavlides Award, being named as the Orthopedic Educator of the Year, and receiving the Orthopedic Medical Student Honor.
