Eleanor C. Fung, MD

Biography

Dr. Eleanor C. Fung is certified by the American Board of Surgery and FRSC-C and performs a wide range of general surgery services as well as advanced GI endoscopy at ECMC. Dr. Fung specializes in gastrointestinal and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Fung earned her bachelor’s, medical degree, and did her residency training in general surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Fung is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery with the University at Buffalo. She has published many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and numerous abstracts, and has conducted numerous presentations on endoscopic surgery and other subjects. Dr. Fung is actively involved in ongoing research.
