Biography

Hasan Fattah, MD  |  Associate Professor, Transplant Nephrologist

Dr. Hasan Fattah serves patients with complex renal health needs as well as those undergoing kidney and pancreas transplants. He joins the ECMC team from the University of Kentucky, where he was most recently Medical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant as well as Transplant Nephrology Associate professor. Following his graduation from the Medical School of the University of Aleppo in Syria, he completed internal medicine residencies at both the Aleppo University Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus. From there, he trained as a Nephrology Fellow at New York University before moving on to a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. With a career that includes years of research and clinical practice, his work has included many publications, particularly those related to complex transplant cases.
