Biography

Jennifer Frustino, DDS, PhD, is a Staff Clinician in the Division of Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics in the Department of Dentistry and the Director of Oncology Research at ECMC.  She is the co-chair of ECMC’s Commission on Cancer Committee and the Chair of the WNY HPV Vaccination Coalition.  Dr. Frustino’s areas of expertise include: oral medicine; management of dental care to oncology patients; and screening, diagnosis and management of oral cancer and premalignant lesions.  She is the principal investigator on cancer-related clinical trials and NIH funded research. 

Dr. Frustino’s education and training includes: MS in Natural Sciences and PhD in Cancer Pathology and Prevention, University at Buffalo, Roswell Park Division; DDS, State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine; Post-doctoral Fellowship in cancer prevention and population sciences, and Residency in Dental Oncology, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
