Biography

Dr. Mark Anders is Director of Orthopedic Trauma at ECMC and an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in reconstruction and surgery related to trauma. His practice also encompasses general orthopedics, including hip and knee replacement. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, he brings over 20 years of experience treating adolescent, adult, and elderly patients, and is one of only two trauma fellowship-trained orthopedists in the Buffalo area.

In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Mark Anders is a clinical associate professor at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and a staff member of UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He has also taught orthopedics courses locally, nationally, and internationally.
