Biography
Dr. Mary Welch is the Rehabilitation Medicine Chief of Service for ECMC, specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Over the past four decades, she has focused her skills assisting patients across Western New York, with previous hospital stops at DeGraff Memorial, ECMC, Mercy, Millard Fillmore, Our Lady of Victory (OLV), and Sisters of Mercy in Buffalo; and early training stints at Strong Memorial and St. Mary’s in Rochester. At ECMC, the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine graduate focuses on brain injury medicine within the hospital’s highly ranked medical rehabilitation unit (MRU) and is able to use a career’s worth of rehab experience to better serve patients in need.
