Biography

Dr. Robert Glover is board-certified in Adult Neurology and Epilepsy. At ECMC, he guides the diagnostic services and care provided for patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions. He also works with rehabilitation doctors, internists and intensivists to determine medications and other medical decisions to ensure the best possible care and treatment outcomes for patients. He is a member of professional organizations including the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Medical Association. Among numerous honors, in 2017 and 2019, he received the outstanding teacher award from the University at Buffalo adult and pediatric neurology residency program. While at Montefiore Medical Center, he founded the hospital’s pediatric stroke education program. His recent board service includes the Faculty Practice Management Plan and the Epilepsy Association of Western NY. Dr. Glover is a frequently invited speaker on topics related to his expertise. In 2019, he spoke on “New Therapies for Epilepsy” at the New York State Neurological Society Annual Meeting, and talked about “Seizures and Epilepsy” for the University at Buffalo Internal Medicine Lecture Series. He has published extensively on his research in both open access and peer-reviewed journals, including the Neurohospitalist, Clinical Toxicology and Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation.
