Biography

Dr. Samer Kareem is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New
York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where he also completed
his transplant fellowship at ECMC’s Regional Center of Excellence for Transplantation and Kidney Care. Dr. Kareem’s professional memberships include the American Society of Transplantation, the American Society of Nephrology, and National Kidney Foundation. Previously, Dr. Kareem was a nephrology fellow at Westchester Medical Center where he was Chief Nephrology Fellow and Educational Chief Fellow. A frequent presenter, Dr. Kareem is well-published on topics related to kidney transplantation, hemodialysis, and other subjects.
