Biography

As Chief of Service of Psychiatry at ECMC, Dr. Yogesh Bakhai brings an abundance of clinical, academic, and research expertise to his psychiatric patients. Over the course of his career, he had led research related to a variety of psychiatric topics, including addiction and geriatric psychiatry. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Yogesh Bakhai is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and has offered his expertise to top institutions, including Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Dr. Yogesh Bakhai has been recognized for his contributions to the psychiatric field, including the Josie Olympia Award and Outstanding Contribution to Resident Education.
