Directions
From Rochester
Pay toll – Continue on thruway (Do not go towards Niagara Falls) Exit 51W (Route 33 West) to 198 – 198 to Elmwood South Exit – Stay on Elmwood to Bidwell Parkway.
From the Peace Bridge
Left on Porter to Richmond – Left on Richmond to West Utica to Elmwood – Left on Elmwood to Bidwell Parkway.
Race Details
Time:
- The 43rd Running. Friday, July 18th, 2025
- 1:00 P.M. Registration and Expo begin.
- 5:00 P.M. Happy Hour / Live Music.
- 6:30 P.M. Elite Introductions and Pre-Race Instructions.
- 7:00 P.M. SHARP – RACE START.
Course:
- Rectangular – Out & Back – USA Track & Field Sanctioned – NY87016BT. Starting and Finishing after Bidwell near Elmwood. See Course Map.
Splits:
- Every Mile.
Water:
- At the one mile mark on Delaware Avenue, beyond the 2 mile mark near the Red Cross on Summer Street, near the 3-mile mark at the 5 Star Bank on Elmwood and Bryant.
Weather:
- The weather traditionally is very warm. Take plenty of water before, during and after the race.
Showers:
- No facilities available – come dressed to run.

- Pre-registered runners may pick up numbers and T-shirts on Bidwell Parkway (please register early to guarantee a T-shirt, avoid higher fees and longer lines)
Bandits
Numbers must be worn on the front of your shirt or shorts. Bandits will be escorted off the course by trained bandit catchers. Do not switch numbers.
Awards & Prizes
Age Group Awards – DEEP!
- The Buffalo Subaru 4-mile chase will be presenting awards in the following age groups based on the number of entries in each age group. In addition, $50.00 will be awarded to the age group winners starting with the 20-24 age group category (United States and Canadian born only).
Male and Female
- 7-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-over.
Couples Division
- M/F – 1st $50. Places 2-7 will receive non-cash awards.
Kids Races
- A special FREE Kids Race for boys & girls in 3 divisions (5-6yr. olds, 75 yards; 7-8yr. olds, 100 yards; 9-10yr. olds, 150 yards) will begin at 6:45 PM. Fill out and mail registration form to enter your child.
