Why Choose Us?
At ECMC, we’re more than just a hospital. We’re a community that’s made the patient experience our first priority, bringing compassionate, capable care to the eight counties of Western New York, as well as Southern Ontario.
The difference between healthcare and true care.
At every level of our organization, our team demonstrates dedication to caring for patients with the best expertise, knowledge, and technology—a commitment that’s been brought to life with our multiple centers of excellence, a growing main campus, and ever-increasing community involvement.
ECMC has been verified as a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons and the NYS Department of Health. Additionally, the NYS Department of Health has recognized ECMC as a regional center for burn care, behavioral health services, transplantation, medical oncology, head and neck cancer care, and rehabilitation.
It’s been our privilege to work on the most critical cases in Western New York, providing care to our patients when their need is greatest. This has also strengthened our ability to facilitate patient success stories in non-emergency medical situations.
