ECMCC Journal Club
The ECMCC Journal Club meets once a month, usually the last Tuesday evening of the month at 2330. We meet in the serenity room on the 7th oor. The club is headed by Kerry Stroud, BSN, RN, NCC, and Sandra Hartman MS, RN, NCC-Rehab.
The purpose of the journal club is to encourage staff personnel to increase their knowledge regarding patient care, the trends of health care, and safe practice. It is also a time for the staff to network with one another, build relationships, and share ideas and solutions to common problems or situations.

The journal club reviews articles pertaining to everything from patient care to leadership and management. The articles
are both thought provoking and pertinent to our patient population. At the present time the articles are selected by the two club proctors, but as the club gains momentum, the articles will be chosen by the staff members attending.
Please come and join the Journal Club meetings. Copies of the articles are posted on each unit and can be found on the G-drive under NURSING/JOURNAL CLUB/1-2018. Flyers are distributed the week before our meetings as reminders.
